I'm not a classically trained photographer and I embrace that fact. While I do know how to take a good image, I don't worry about the details of getting the absolutely most technically perfect shot. I want what I make my photos do is to capture that moment as we all experienced it. The crooked smile, the slightly awkward hand because they were nervous, the truly organic belly laugh. I want you to be able to look back on these images and fall in love again, 40 years from now, curled up on the couch with your memories and sipping some tea.
